1906 Indian School At Carlisle PA

Here's a nice old color postcard view! It pictures a large school complex. The two story building has large balconies in view. Front of card is printed and reads "Class Rooms, Indian School, Carlisle Pa.".
The Carlisle Indian Industrial School was open from 1879 until 1918. It would become a model for other Indian schools across the country. The Indian school lasted until it became a college in the early 20th century.
Back of card is undivided and postmarked "Carlisle PA Nov 27 1906" with two super American Flag cancels. Condition-Fair to good with some corner wear and a small 1/8" tear at left edge as shown
